Shore Parents and Guardians:
We will hold two nights of Parent/Teacher Conferences this Fall on Wednesday, October 13th and Thursday, October 21st from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. All conferences will be conducted virtually through Zoom.
Education is a partnership between; student, teacher and parent(s). At Shore we want our students to take responsibility for their learning and academic performance. Families are encouraged to have their child be an active participant in the conference process and use their child’s Chromebook to access Zoom and participate in conferences if needed.
We will continue to schedule our conferences using PTCFast, an online scheduling service. Please use the following link to schedule your conferences: https://ptcfast.com/schools/Shore_Middle_School_1
This simple process will enable each family to schedule a 5 minute conference with your child’s or multiple children’s teachers. A printable schedule will be emailed to you immediately after you submit your requests with the links to each teacher’s Zoom meeting. It is imperative that you arrive on-time and keep to the 5 minute window. Parents will be in a “waiting room” until the teacher completes the previous conference and admits you into the Zoom conference. Please be patient and understanding as we navigate through this conference environment.
