News from your Shore PTSA

May 28th

Today, the PTSA provided an ice cream truck for the students to enjoy for their Student Appreciation from the PTSA.  We didn’t want to forget about the MSO students, so they will receive a voucher for a treat to their home. Thank you to April, Christina and the Shore office staff for their help with this endeavor.

Congratulations to our 8th graders as they move onto the High School.  Since they aren’t able to have a typical 8th grade party, the PTSA has purchased signs for their yards!  Keep an eye out for those signs around town!  Thank you to April for chairing this, and to the Shore staff for delivering them.  Feel free to post a picture with your 8th grader and post it on our Facebook page!

The Shore PTSA has award 2 scholarships to 2 graduating seniors that attended Shore!  Congratulations to Ella Pugh and Amanda Myles for being the 2020-2021 recipients of the Shore PTSA scholarships!  We look forward to seeing all the great things that you will accomplish!  Thank you to John and his team for completing the difficult task of picking only 2 people out of a sea of excellent students!

If you have an art student, you might have seen that they came home with a tie-dyed mask!  The art department was able to complete this activity using a PTSA grant!  We were happy to see so many students enjoying this project!

Thank you to our committee chairs for next year!  If the committee is open and you would like more information, please email me at [email protected]

It is hard to believe that my 2 years as your Shore PTSA president have come to an end.  Even with all the challenges. it has been my pleasure to serve in the role.  Thank you to my board for all the hard work this past year!  April, Lynda and Marc are all moving on to the High School, and I thank them for their service to the PTSA!  Beatrice will be staying on to serve along with the new board, so I wish them much luck for the next school year.

Thank you to the families, students and staff that have supported all the PTSA efforts!  We couldn’t do what we do without your support!!

Enjoy your summer!!
