Grade 6 into Grade 7 Scheduling Information

Dear Shore 6th Grade Parents & Guardians,


Below you will see important scheduling dates and information for your child as we prepare for their transition to 7th grade.  Although this may seem early, please know that this is typical to begin preparations for the next school year.  


If you would like to learn more about our core courses and electives please take a look at the Mentor Middle School Program of Studies 2021-2022. This will help when your child has to pick TWO electives for 7th grade. Please contact me via email or phone if you have any questions.

Monday, February 1st 

  • 6th into 7th Grade Scheduling Presentation (Video format)
    • Scheduling presentation video will be shown in Health/P.E. classes (Mrs. Reschke & Mr. Aloisio) 
    • This presentation will be specific to course information and explain/focus on how to choose elective courses
    • By the end of the day, the scheduling video will be posted to Schoology. 

Thursday, February 4th- In HEALTH CLASSES

  • Individual in-person and  Zoom Meetings with Students to Schedule Elective Courses 
      • Kellie Dolinsky will be meeting with in-person students individually during Health classes to schedule electives.
      • Kellie Dolinsky will be zooming with MSO students during Health classes to schedule electives.
  • At the time of scheduling electives, students will be made aware of their course recommendations regarding Math, English, Fine Art, Band, and Orchestra. These courses require a recommendation and/or a prerequisite).

Friday, February 5th- In P.E. CLASSES
