News from your Shore PTSA

January 15th

Hope everyone had a wonderful break!  It is hard to believe that we are on the verge of the

second half of the year!

This year has looked very different for the PTSA, but if anyone would like to help us have some of the activities that we normally do throughout the second semester, reach out. We would be looking for help with:

  • Shore’s Got Talent- We can still have some sort of event; it would just have to be virtual.  If you have a child that would like to show off their talent, and you would like to talk about how to make this event happen, email
  • Family Paint Night- We started this last year, and people really seemed to like it.  It is one of the few times that we can participate in an activity with our middle school children. If you would like to look into how we can have this virtually, email

Thank you to Donna Fiore for chairing the Reflections committee again this year. Congratulations to all the students that had their entries make it to the state level. Visit to see whose work advanced. Good luck to all our students!

Thank you to everyone that has been supporting the Marco’s fundraisers all year. Our next Marco’s night is Jan. 26th.  The money raised from these helps us still do some of the things that we normally do even without our normal fundraisers.

As a reminder, every time you order from Marcos, you can select Shore, and we get credit for your sale. We only get funds on our special nights, but there is a race where you can earn bonus money for all the orders on the other days.

We are looking for people to serve on the PTSA board for next year.  The nominating committee will be formed next month.  4 out of 5 of the PTSA board members will be leaving Shore next year, so now is the time to start thinking about serving on the board for next year. If you have questions on what the different roles entail, email

Remember, our next PTSA meeting is February 11th via Zoom!  This is a great time to hear the Shore inside scoop from Mr. Dwyer. Keep an eye out for the Zoom link!
