It’s crazy to think that more than 75% of the school year has gone by. It seems just like yesterday we were welcoming 6th graders for orientation, or opening the doors for walk the schedule night. To say I am proud of our students and staff on what they have accomplished thus far is an understatement. Each school year tells its own story. 2023-2024 thus far has been one of hard work, determination, growth, and celebration. We have had numerous positive things happen this year, and I look forward to what the final quarter of the year has in store.
Our 8th graders will be making their way out into the community today for Shore’s 3rd annual Make A Difference Day. Partnering with over twenty establishments throughout Lake County, 8th graders will put the word service into action. This is always one of my favorite days of the year and I look forward to sharing a video in the near future highlighting the day.
On behalf of the staff at Shore, we wish you all a happy, restful spring break. Classes will resume on Tuesday, April 2 when we will make the final push for the school year. The 4th quarter will be filled with numerous events. Specifics of these events will be shared in the future, and see the list below to add them to your family calendar so you don’t miss out.
